Tea cosy came to visit me last week too…
i thought that it might do my constitution good to take my lemon and ginger outside, get some fresh air in the lungs. i was just about to pour the tea and scoff my caramel chocolate goodie when…..
the rains came pouring down!
I don’t think teacosy was any the worse for a bit o Bressa rain and i don’t think it spoiled his wee hols with us.

I agree, the angry skies pictures are fabulous and just show off the principal subject matter to best advantage.
I believe the Venerable Teacosy is to pay a State Visit to England next. To the New Forest to be precise …. TSM and I are planning an action-packed itinerary for our guest and will report on the stately progress as and when.

Superb atmospheric pics! Husband is off to Shetland tomorrow for works on Jarlshof (just till Thursday). No time to visit Bressay alas. Iit’s astounding where this teacosy has been/is going. How many hands will it have passed through before returning home permanently?

I’m hoping to get my hands onto it either or here or whitianga:i’ve got lots of places for it to visit-so fingers crossed i can get it,though i think it will go round ib’ers first before coming to me(normal)

Landlady, I often drive past Winson Green prison late at night and City Hospital in Handsworth, Birmingham (where they treat more gunshot victims than anywhere else in the UK) and I might be able to get some pics of the Teacosy in real situations (not just a light shower!). It’s washable isn’t it?
Reckon also that it might be big enough to smuggle in at least a key of coke (split the profits?)

OOOh, Les the excitement! You are added to the list. A few gritty black and white photographs- the circle of deprivation as seen through a tea cosy’s..er…spout hole.. i can see it all!
I never thought of the opportunities for a bit of honest to goodness drug smuggling, go for it Les,code name the operation “Blue Boy”.

I say morroletc, that is a classy teapot. It looks like one of those thermal ones with an easy grip handle. And the view! What a furtunate teacosy it is and with so much of liff ahead of it…

Why thank you - it is a lovely teapot and a lovely view - thats the Bressa Sound with the south end of Lerwick in the background - my most favourite place of procrastination is sitting on that bench looking at that view with a cuppa!
